NAMIWalks Shatters Previous Fundraising Record!
Did you know that more than 90% of funds raised by our 80+ NAMIWalks all over the country stay with the NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates that host the events? In 2017, we hit a new all-time fundraising high with $11.3 million! Last year we raised $10.8 million.
We also had more teams and walkers across the country than in years past. In 2017, almost 68,000 people participated in a NAMIWalks in their community compared to less than 61,000 in 2016. Both the funds and the awareness raised helps us achieve our shared mission, and makes NAMIWalks one of the biggest fundraising strategies of many NAMI State Organizations and NAMI Affiliates.
Help make NAMI-DAC a NAMIWalks super-performer in 2018
A substantial portion of the funds that NAMI Dona Ana County raises for NAMIWalks comes back to us for use in local programs. When you participate as a walker, sponsor, or donor you are directly increasing NAMI-DAC’s influence on mental health in southern New Mexico.
