You Can Make a Difference!
NAMI-DAC is a 100 percent volunteer organization. Without our volunteers, we cannot function. While we welcome all volunteers, at this time, we are looking for responsible, committed people to serve on NAMI-DAC’s board of directors in order to continue improving mental health services in Dona Ana County and southern New Mexico.
The job is not difficult. There are 12 regular meetings every year and 2 special meetings. Board members are required to attend all meetings. The business of the board is to oversee and develop education and support programs, advocate at state and local levels, oversee the organization’s finances, and develop strategies for improving mental health services. In the course of this very rewarding work, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and work with many people, including: state and local government employees, service providers, and mental health clients.
If you, or someone you know, wants to make a commitment to help people with mental health conditions in Dona Ana County, please complete and submit this form. We cannot continue our work without you.
